In a letter received on December 4, 2008 the Greater Chattanooga Council was permitted to change the name of the council to the Greater Chattanooga John J. Spittler Council.
This change was made with the intent to honor one of the founders of the local council and to recognize Jack’s outstanding contributions to the Navy League.
Please join the board in thanking Jack for his many contributions to our council and our anticipation of many more years of service together.
